Supervision & Professional Consultation

I provide reflective supervision and professional consultation for clinicians working with complex clinical presentations, developmental questions, and emotionally or conceptually demanding material. This work is designed for practitioners who want to deepen their clinical thinking, sharpen formulation, and approach challenging cases with greater clarity and confidence.

My approach emphasizes relational thinking, clinical judgment, and collaborative meaning-making. Supervision may focus on case formulation, conceptual dilemmas, questions of fit or next steps, or moments in the work where things feel stuck, unclear, or difficult to move forward.

How I work with clinicians

Supervision is a space for careful thinking rather than quick answers. Together, we slow the work down enough to understand what is happening clinically — in the patient, in the treatment, and in the clinician’s experience of the case.

My role is active and engaged. I bring curiosity, structure, and clinical perspective to the conversation, with attention to complexity rather than simplification. The aim is to support thoughtful decision-making, clinical flexibility, and professional growth.

This work may be a good fit if:

  • You are working with complex or high-stakes cases and want space to think them through

  • You are interested in formulation, relational dynamics, and developmental context

  • You are working to integrate divergent clinical perspectives, intense material, or complex internal responses into coherent formulation and next steps

  • You value supervision that emphasizes judgment, nuance, and collaborative exploration

Supervision and consultation may take place on an ongoing or as-needed basis, depending on the nature of the work and your goals. Sessions are typically 45–55 minutes. Supervision in a group format is also available in 10-week sessions three times each year.
